Setting the time is easy with the crown, which can be pulled out to the 2nd click position to set the hour and minute hands. The date can be set by pulling the crown out to the 1st click position and turning it to the desired date (avoid setting the date between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.). And if you notice that the date is changing during daytime, simply advance the hour hand by 12 hours to correct it.
