Breitling Superocean A17375 42 mm

A17375 presents the Superocean in a compact 42 mm format, with a 12.56 mm stainless-steel case that keeps the modern diver unusually easy to read and wear. The ratcheted unidirectional bezel uses a ceramic insert, the cambered sapphire crystal receives glareproofing on both sides, and oversized indexes are filled for low-light legibility. Water resistance reaches 300 metres, while the folding clasp allows 15 mm of micro-adjustment for a more precise fit.

The watch uses automatic Breitling Calibre 17, a 4 Hz movement with a bidirectional rotor and 25 jewels. Its ETA 2824-2 architecture provides a date and 38-hour power reserve, with hacking seconds for exact setting. The uncomplicated time-and-date mechanism leaves the case and bezel to express the Superocean's purpose, rather than adding unnecessary mechanical theatre.
