A17321 translates the Superocean Heritage design into a more approachable 42 mm stainless-steel case. The sapphire crystal, stick-and-dot indexes and 200-metre rating retain the collection's sea-watch character, while the unidirectional rotating bezel and screwdown crown give the compact profile real dive-watch function. At 12.95 mm thick, it keeps the arrow-led, nautical silhouette present without asking the wrist to accommodate the larger 46 mm format.

The movement is Breitling Calibre 17, an automatic ETA 2824-2-based calibre running at 4 Hz. A bidirectional rotor winds 25 jewels and supplies 38 hours of power, while the date adds useful information to the central hours, minutes and seconds. Hacking seconds and hand-winding make setting straightforward, and the uncomplicated mechanism suits the watch's balanced proportions.
