Grand Seiko Heritage SBGH349 40 mm

The Heritage SBGH349 places its 40 mm round case in High-Intensity Titanium. At 104 g, its weight is notably light for the format. Its 13 mm thickness and 46.6 mm lug-to-lug span give it a robust but carefully proportioned presence, with dual-curved sapphire, LumiBrite and a see-through back. The screw-down crown and 100-metre water resistance reinforce the practical side of the Heritage design, while the power-reserve indication adds a clear functional detail to the dial.

The movement is the in-house 9S85, an automatic Hi-Beat 36000 calibre with 37 jewels, one barrel and 55 hours of reserve. It operates at 36,000 vph and supports hand-winding and hacking seconds. Grand Seiko states accuracy of +5/-3 and lists the Grand Seiko Standard. In this Heritage reference, titanium changes the case's material character while leaving the high-frequency 9S architecture fully in command.
