Overview

About this reference

The 444.NX.1170.RX takes the Big Bang into the Meca-10's more architectural territory. Its 42 mm titanium case and titanium bezel are joined by a black rubber strap, while the skeleton-and-satin dial creates space for the power-reserve display to become part of the design. Sapphire with anti-reflective treatment keeps the layered face legible, and luminous details add definition after dark. The 100-metre water-resistance rating gives the watch a useful degree of versatility despite its highly technical appearance.

Rather than a chronograph, the hand-wound HUB1205 is built around an extended power reserve of 240 hours. Its 264-part architecture contains 29 jewels and beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The absence of an automatic rotor leaves more room for the movement's mechanical logic to come forward. In this reference, the Meca-10 concept is expressed through duration, open structure, and the tactile rhythm of manual winding.
