The Pilot Watches IW327017 gives IWC's aviation format a lighter visual register. Its silver dial brightens the 40mm stainless-steel case, while the beige textile strap introduces a softer note without losing the collection's functional character. Sapphire protects the analog display, and the solid caseback and screw-down crown keep the architecture disciplined and easy to read.

At 11mm thick, the discontinued reference remains compact enough for regular wear despite its large size category. Automatic calibre 35111 provides the date, hours, minutes and central seconds, operating at 4Hz with 25 jewels and 42 hours of power reserve. The 60m water resistance is matched by a 20mm lug width and 18mm buckle width, giving the textile strap a precise fit at the case.
