Alba Active Watches
Alba Active covers sporty watches with quite different ways of showing the time. The useful first choice is between a simpler three-hand layout and the extra detail of a chronograph.

Alba Active buying guide
A chronograph or a clearer dial
AM3A14X1 pairs a black dial with a black leather strap in a 44 mm steel case. Its VD57 chronograph gives the dial more to read. AS9T79X1 takes the three-hand and date route, with a blue dial, steel bracelet and slightly smaller 43 mm case. Choose the chronograph if elapsed timing is part of the appeal; otherwise the simpler display deserves a look.
Match the specification to the watch
Both examples have mineral crystals, but their water ratings differ: 10 bar for AM3A14X1 and 20 bar for AS9T79X1. The Active name alone does not establish diving certification. For a sportier watch whose main attraction is an automatic movement, compare Alba Mechanical.
