Bering Ultra Slim Watches

Ultra Slim is worth a look when a watch's thickness matters as much as its dial. The simplest versions keep Bering's sparse face and fine mesh bracelet; others add displays that change both the look and the case depth.

Bering Ultra Slim buying guide

Start with the smaller, simpler watches

The 31 mm 17031 models offer quite different colour choices within the same compact format. The grey 17031-166 is restrained, the silver dial and gold bracelet of 17031-334 are more decorative, and 17031-307 pairs a blue dial with blue mesh. These quartz references have sapphire crystals. A 39 mm 17039-334 gives you another size to consider without moving straight to the larger day/date models.

Extra information takes extra space

The 40 mm 17140-009 and 17140-007 put day and date in subsidiary displays. Their 7 mm cases are thicker than the very flat designs that give this collection its name. I'd choose them for those displays, rather than assume every Ultra Slim looks equally spare. You can also browse Bering Classic before deciding how minimal you want the watch to be.
