IWC Aquatimer
IWC Aquatimer is the brand's professional dive-watch line, with robust cases, strong water resistance, rotating timing systems and a more technical personality than Portofino, Portugieser or Pilot's Watches.
The current mix includes blue and black dial references from wearable 42 mm cases through larger 44 and 45.6 mm pieces. Size, bezel system, strap or bracelet and condition shape the buying decision.

A technical IWC diver
Aquatimer watches are built for utility, but they still carry IWC's clean design language. Blue dials feel more oceanic; black dials are more tool-like.
Larger Aquatimer references can wear substantially, so thickness and strap shape matter as much as diameter.
Case, bezel and strap
The rotating timing system and case construction are central to the Aquatimer identity. They should feel precise and well kept on pre-owned examples.
Bracelet, rubber strap, service history and case condition are key. A clean diver with known service context can justify a premium over a cheaper, tired example.
