Campus dials mix Arabic and Roman numerals in a lively California-style layout. The broad hands and luminous numerals improve legibility, and the closed case back on many references leaves room for engraving. These watches retain the ritual and slimness of the Alpha hand-wound movement.

Club Sport moves into a different category with automatic neomatik calibres, metal bracelets and higher water resistance. World-time and other variants add function without abandoning the direct dial, but size, thickness and weight increase accordingly.

Choosing and buying

Colour is an important part of Club, yet construction should lead. Confirm water resistance, crown type, movement, case diameter and whether the watch is supplied on textile, leather or bracelet. A Campus and a Club Sport with similar dial colour may be intended for entirely different use.

Hand-wound Campus models usually form the accessible end of the range; automatic Club Sport, bracelet and complication references sit higher. Dial edition and condition affect individual offers, but movement and construction explain the larger price steps.
