What MoonSwatch is

MoonSwatch is the playful Omega x Swatch collaboration that borrows the Speedmaster Moonwatch shape and turns it into a colourful Bioceramic quartz chronograph. It is part of the Swatch world as much as the Omega story.

That distinction matters. A MoonSwatch is not a mechanical Moonwatch and should not be judged like one. It is lighter, more casual, more colourful and much more accessible, with mission names, Velcro-style straps and special Moonphase or Snoopy-style details depending on the model.

How to choose one

Colour is the main decision. Mission to the Moon is closest to the classic Speedmaster look. Other planet-inspired models go brighter, warmer or more playful. Moonphase versions add a different dial layout and more collector interest.

Condition matters because the case, crystal and strap are not meant to feel like a steel luxury watch. Check for marks, strap wear, box, papers and whether the price still makes sense against the original Swatch positioning.
