Q chronographs add stopwatch subdials and, on some references, a tachymeter scale. Their contrasting dial layouts are part of the appeal, but they also take more attention to read than a straightforward three-hand watch.

Bracelet fit and crystal

The bracelet contributes strongly to the shape of a Q Timex on the wrist. Case width alone will not tell you how the first links sit or how closely the clasp adjusts.

Some references use acrylic crystals for their rounded vintage appearance. Acrylic can pick up marks more readily than harder glass, so the crystal specification is worth checking before buying.
