The stainless-steel Chronomat A13355 is the broad Crosswind interpretation, using an approximately 42.7 to 43 mm case, sapphire crystal and 100 m water resistance. A Pilot bracelet carries the case, while the rider-tab bezel, screw-locked crown and chronograph pushers establish the familiar Chronomat controls. The larger proportions give the watch a stronger wrist presence than the compact case family.
Its automatic Breitling Calibre 13 is a third-party chronograph based on the ETA Valjoux 7750. The cam-actuated mechanism pairs timing with a date, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and holds 42 hours of power. Hand-winding and hacking add control during setting, while the industrial finish keeps the calibre purposeful and mechanically transparent.
