The Breitling Classic AVI A233803A1B1X1 shares the 42 mm stainless-steel case and leather strap of its companion, but presents a black dial. At 14.7 mm thick with a 22 mm lug width, the round case has a sturdy stance, while the 109 g weight suits the strap. The bidirectional bezel and screw-down crown give the black-dial configuration a purposeful outline, while its solid caseback, glareproofed cambered sapphire and 100 m water resistance complete the chronograph's practical profile.

The watch uses Breitling Calibre 23, an automatic third-party chronograph based on the ETA 7753.
