The Elegance SBGW301 keeps its visual language compact and composed, using a 37.3 mm stainless-steel case with a 44.3 mm lug-to-lug measurement. At 11.7 mm thick, it has room for a box-shaped sapphire crystal and a see-through back. The polished dial, screw-down crown and alligator-leather strap reinforce the formal setting, while LumiBrite and anti-reflective coating add practical specification beneath the refined surface.

Its in-house 9S64 is a manually wound calibre with 24 jewels, one barrel and 72 hours of power reserve. The balance runs at 28,800 vph, with hand-winding and hacking seconds available when setting the watch. Six-position testing, +5/-3s/day accuracy and the Grand Seiko Standard give this hand-wound calibre a disciplined performance profile. In the Elegance family's 9S6x time-only group, its 72-hour reserve and visible mechanics give the SBGW301 a plainly mechanical character with useful autonomy.
