IW500712 expresses the Portugieser's large-format automatic character through a silver dial, 42.3 mm stainless-steel case and black alligator-leather strap. The power-reserve display gives the otherwise open dial a clear purpose, while the see-through back brings the movement into the watch's visual composition. Its 30-metre water resistance is consistent with a formal reference designed around proportion, autonomy and calm legibility.

IWC Manufacture calibre 52010 uses two barrels to deliver 168 hours of power reserve, with small seconds and date indication completing the display. The in-house movement measures 38.2 mm in diameter, contains 31 jewels, and operates at 4 Hz. A full rotor with a gold medallion adds a discreet decorative note. At 14.1 mm thick, the case carries the large movement with convincing presence.
