Lacoste's official history places a formative moment in Boston in 1923, when René Lacoste's tenacity and style on court became associated with the Crocodile nickname. That distinction matters. Boston is most convincing when the applied crocodile, contrasting bezel and structured dial feel integrated, not decorative afterthoughts.
