The Elegance SBGW281 is defined by a 37.3 mm stainless-steel case with a compact 44.3 mm lug-to-lug span. Its 11.7 mm thickness, polished dial and box-shaped sapphire crystal give the round profile a balanced visual depth, while the screw-down crown and alligator-leather strap maintain the formal brief. A see-through caseback reveals the movement, and the power-reserve indication adds a practical note to an otherwise clean, medium-sized unisex watch.

That movement is the manually wound in-house 9S64. Its 24 jewels, single barrel and 72-hour reserve sit beneath a 28,800 vph operating frequency, with hand-winding and hacking seconds built into the architecture. Grand Seiko specifies six-position testing, +5/-3s/day accuracy and the Grand Seiko Standard.
